I began my career in 1990 on the trading floor, where the discipline was simple:

After transitioning to working solely for ultra-high-net-worth individuals in 2009, initially focused on investment portfolio risk, I pivoted to hedging human capital.

I recognised that the greatest threat to sustained wealth was not market exposure.

It was human behaviour: unresolved conflict, poor succession, unprepared heirs, and depleted decision-makers operating at the limits of their capacity.

I also knew this from the inside. In my 30s, I experienced burnout. The one risk I had failed to hedge in my first career was my own well-being.

The methodology I have since built, tested, and refined is the direct result of that experience. It is not academic. It works because I have lived it.
